Job Description:

As a MERN Stack Developer, you will be responsible for developing and
maintaining full-stack web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React, and
Node.js. You will handle both front-end and back-end development, contributing to a
range of projects across various domains, ensuring high performance, scalability,
and excellent user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other team members to create high-quality software solutions.
• Implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces with React and modern front-end technologies.
• Develop robust and scalable RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
• Work with databases such as MongoDB for data modeling, design, and querying.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications for performance, security, and scalability.
• Work on diverse projects across different industries, showcasing adaptability to various client requirements and technologies.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, following best practices in development.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and apply them to ongoing projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with full-stack development using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and modern frameworks/libraries (React, Redux).
• Solid experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with database design and management (MongoDB is preferred, but knowledge of SQL is a plus).
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work on multiple projects with diverse requirements, showcasing flexibility and creativity.
• Knowledge of front-end development best practices, including responsive design and performance optimisation.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud services like AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, containerization with Docker).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira.
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, etc.).
